Eclectis channel network (·.eclectis.channel) · last updated May 2026
Eclectis publishes a network of topic channels at <channel>.eclectis.channel. You can read any channel without an account and without telling us who you are. This page explains the limited data involved when you do.
Reading is anonymous
We don't ask readers to sign up, sign in, or hand over personal information to read a channel. We don't build advertising profiles about you, and we don't sell data.
What we measure
To understand which stories are useful, a channel records anonymous, aggregate engagement — that a story was shown and whether it was clicked — tied to a random identifier stored in your browser, not to your identity. We also use privacy-respecting site analytics to count visits and pages. None of this identifies you personally.
Cookies
Channels use browser storage for anonymous read-state (which stories you have seen) tied to a random identifier, not to your identity. Site analytics may set cookies depending on the provider. No advertising cookies are set on these pages.
Who processes data for us
- · Google — site analytics.
- · Vercel — hosting and content delivery.
- · Supabase — the database behind the channels.
- · Anthropic — the language model the curation engine calls to score and summarise stories (no reader data is sent).
Links out
Channels link to original sources across the web. Once you follow a link, that site's own privacy practices apply.
